Guardian: "Channel 4's follow-up to satirical drama A Very Social Secretary could include a fictional scenario in which the prime minister, Tony Blair, is put on trial for war crimes over the Iraq conflict after he leaves office.

LATimes: "Over the weekend, the mayor [of London, Ken Livingstone] defended his recent demand that Ambassador Robert H. Tuttle, a personal friend of President Bush who made his wealth from a major Orange County auto dealership, and other U.S. Embassy commuters pay the $14 charge to enter central London by car. British officials say the embassy staff members owe about $250,000 in fines for refusing to pay the fee."

Guardian: "John Reid demanded sweeping changes to international law yesterday to free British soldiers from the restraints of the Geneva conventions and make it easier for the west to mount military actions against other states."

Laws and regulations - in the minds of the nomenklatura or the Mob if you wish - are for the underdog, not the Herrenvolk.
