A picture named Bunkerbuster.jpg Listen to this piece of right-wing 'satire' (I call it sadism.)
MediaMatters: "In an attempt to devise a politically correct name for bunker-buster nuclear weapons to make their use more accepted, Glenn Beck proposed 'climate-control device' and 'butterfly bomb' before settling on the name 'anti-cancer bombs' because 'you treat cancer with radiation'. Beck also suggested the name 'bomb de tropical' as 'something for the tanning index', adding, 'We could use that one in Venezuela'."

Technically, if you analyse this ss (satirical sadism) piece, it is a satire of right-wing perversion and cruelty. However, Glenn Beck is actually serious; he means it. This shows how perverted the American right has become. It's like making jokes about the Holocaust.

ACDN: "The Union of Concerned Scientists has an excellent online video which describes the effects of a one-megaton bunker-buster weapon dropped on Esfahan [Isfahan], which is said to be the primary location of the Iranian nuclear weapons program.
UCS calculates 3 million dead, 35 million exposed to significant amounts of radioactive fallout, with the fallout extending to Pakistan, Afghanistan and India."

Earlier experience with DU ammunition: "In Bosnia and Kosovo, 28 Italian soldiers died. They did not lose their lives in military operations, they died because they were struck by incurable illnesses during the mission in the territories of the former Yugoslavia. This appalling fact is contained in the annual report sent by the Defence Minister to parliament."

Guardian: "At least 100,000 NHS employees will lose their jobs if the government carries through the health reforms Tony Blair wants as a lasting monument to his premiership, according to a report today from the pro-market thinktank Reform.

Under the reforms, the benefits of a more efficient service, with greater productivity and a more highly skilled workforce, would be accompanied by severe unemployment, says the report by Nick Bosanquet, professor of health policy at Imperial College London."

Independent: "At a Downing Street summit yesterday, Tony Blair urged local health managers to bite the bullet and eliminate deficits estimated at more than £600m that have led to the announcement of about 7,000 job losses."

This will not only increase unemployment, but also jeopardise the health of millions of people. While Tony Blair is squandering the taxpayers' money on an illegal and immoral war, he is increasing the dangers of retaliation by the resistance abroad and depriving thousands of British citizens of health care and social security.
Blair is the worst PM ever. Blair is a terrorist and a traitor.

Guardian: "A high court judge branded the government's system of control orders against terrorism suspects 'an affront to justice' yesterday and ruled that they breached human rights laws."

AlterNet: "On Monday, former Secretary of State Colin Powell told me that he and his department's top experts never believed that Iraq posed an imminent nuclear threat, but that the president followed the misleading advice of Vice President Dick Cheney and the CIA in making the claim."

All heads of state knew that there was no threat from Iraq, nevertheless all those who supported Bush, including Blair, Berlusconi, Balkenende, Howard, knew that Bush was lying, so they too lied and cheated and made a farce of democracy. In all of these countries taxpayers' money is diverted from social purposes to fight immoral and endless wars abroad.

Security, you say? Forget about it.
LATimes: "A computer drive sold openly Wednesday at a bazaar outside the U.S. air base here holds what appears to be a trove of potentially sensitive American intelligence data, including the names, photographs and telephone numbers of Afghan spies informing on the Taliban and Al Qaeda."
