The Gadgeteer reviews the Samsung SPH-i500 Palm OS Phone. [The Connected PDA]
Alternative to the TREO 600? See also the Brighthand page. And this phone has Bluetooth, which the TREO is lacking.

A couple of things... 1. Sorry about merchandise not being available at B.B. King's on Tuesday and Wednesday. I can't stomach giving any venue 30% on all merchandise and CDs. I think it is not right. Please go to our web site and simply order from there...there is a convenient link on the right side of this page.....
2. Some people seem to misunderstand what I am saying and think that the Limited Edition Mini CDs are free. The postcards are free, but not the CDs. The Mini CDs are not free.

Wed 15 Oct: New York NY - B. B. King's The club did indeed sound better with bodies in it. And we must have been hot on Tuesday night, 'cause the fire alarm went off...
I stopped "Ocean Blvd." to hear what was going on. Some people pointed at Canton, who couldn't keep from laughing. When we started again I heard some kind of megaphone announcement and stopped again...Since whatever it was had stopped by then I started the intro of "Heart Still/Beating" and we finished the set.
Afterwards the house told Dan, our monitor engineer, that the club's fire alarm had gone off. Hm, if a loud Blues band had played nobody would have even heard the alarm at all!!
Tonight I was inexplicably tired and probably not the best I have been, but the club was packed and the audience was great and there were some shining moments anyway. Jon played a couple of gorgeous solos on "Fullmoonbeachwalk". Very horn-like and just perfect...
"Fullmoonbeachwalk" was named after a night in Santa Barbara in 1993, during the sessions for "The Hours between Night + Day". We had heard that the moon was closer to the earth that night than it would be for another 50 or 60 years, and Davo, Jon and I took a walk on the beach after midnight with Tecates and Herradura in hand...a beautiful night that was, and the song reminds me of it every time...

G-Wiz could be the car to make you happy if:
you’re looking for something FUNky
you like the idea of cleaner, quieter cities
you don’t mind slashing your transport costs
you would prefer an automatic and a car that can turn on a euro!
you travel less than 40 miles a day on ordinary roads
you have access to off street parking at home or at your place of work for charging Argh, who am I kidding, this will never make it to the USA.....
