What: Meetup with other local Ken Wilber fans to discuss the spiritual intellectual's unified field theory of consciousness.
Who: Ken Wilber fans Worldwide. So far, 1449 have signed up.
Wow, that is strange IMHO. I don't know what it is about clubs I don't like...maybe it's a neo-German sense of disliking large groups of any kind. I think my age group (born between 1955-1965) is very sensitive to that sort of thing...I mean, it could be nice to discuss items with like-minded people, but....
"Nice people, interesting topics, I look forward to the next meeting after I've read some more. I think the people that show up have considerable intelligence and similar interests in a lot of ways."
Hm, no....I couldn't do it.

On tour I listened to the first 7 CDs of this 10 CD set, and found them amazing. A great experience. It is great to hear the man talk because listening to him gives his message a great deal of warmth.

RE St. Louis
Canton played a trick on our soundman Alan in St. Louis. Alan listens to the same series of songs in every venue to fine-tune the P.A. That's a common procedure for every engineer. They get used to the sound of these particular songs, which might be selected for the low end or midrange or stereo image etc. and which they have heard thousands of times over the years. (My brother used to listen to Frankie goes to Hollywood on every single P.A.)

Since Alan listens to the same songs before every show, he burned himself a CD that has all four songs on it, so he doesn't have to switch from CD to CD. Well, Canton got a hold of that CDs and ripped it. Then he processed it and first he let the music drift out-of-phase, then he EQed the low-end away and finally he added Japanese broadcast news in the background. The final crowning moment was some x-rated Donald Duck-like dialog. I wasn't present, but I am told that Alan listened in disbelief and ended up banging against the effect racks in frustration, possibly thinking something was wrong with his gear that added radio interference....when he looked up at last, he saw Canton sitting on stage, waiving the real P.A. test CD in his hand...

Alan swore revenge against everyone on tour....

After the show in St. Louis I spent about an hour meeting people and signing their CDs. Quite a few people mentioned that they had grown up with our music, which they heard for the first time in their teens...yeah, we have been around for a while now...going on 14 years...now entertaining the next generation...That's really cool, I think!

You’ll enjoy hours of imaginative entertainment and learn techniques for improving your mind/body mastery. The spiritual power of this mythical journey is unlike anything you’ve ever seen on your home computer.
What? Gaming that doesn't involve large guns and monsters and gore?
