A quick closing thought to an amazing weekend spent with good friends,
doing lots of things (in total...cycling, hiking, two concerts, two
movies, farmer's market, coffee with three different people, some time
just sitting and chatting with friends, three differnet kinds of beer,
the best ribs, a great catch-up conversation with my mom, laundromat
visit with a bud, many dog kisses....oh, and a new cd!). And
during all that I appreciated how my body is keeping up with what I
need it to do. Changing, but accepted as-is.
Speaking of my body....quick funny story from last week. I needed
to see a new doctor 'cause mine is three-months out on booking and I
just picked what I thought was the closest female doctor to my
work. "Dr. Shelly Fingerhood." Doctor
with-the-funniest-gynecologist-name-ever turned out to be an older,
man. Dude!
Okay, to read and sleep and sleep and sleep. And then will be Tuesday.
