Have I mentioned that I have this pretty large canvas that I'm very slowly turning into something? Um, when I have wine that's going to go bad (yeah, I'm bad sometimes), I put the canvas in the bathtub and slowly pour the wine on it. It looks cool and it's different than my normal art.  I'm about to go do another round. I've been cleaning... Floors - check Trash - check Dishes - check Clothes on the bedroom floor - check Toilet & sink- check Clean out the fridge - check I think I have laundry & mail-sorting (though not much of that) to do and my apartment will be good to go for a week on it's own. Oh, plant-watering on Friday... Funny that Abir's been one of my favorite people for...almost six years and he calls and says "so, i'm on the way to your place. um, where do you live?" I think that means I should invite people over more. I just don't have so much room...and I live in the suburbs. Ew. But, still...I have lived here over 2 years and my friends should know how to get here!! Some do, of course... Comments8:03:51 PM

I really love my dentist.  And I like that there's another good life-thing taken care of.  Small, but makes me feel responsible.  I must now clean.  Abir's going to come over and return my luggage.  I think this is my only evening in before Costa Rica.  Unless I skip the show Friday.  I'm not sure how laundry will get done.  Maybe at 3 am before going to the airport at 5.  I should do it tonight, but I already have on my pajama's... Doesn't someone want to volunteer to take me to the airport on Saturday?  I really do think I'm supposed to be there at 5.  It leaves at 7 and it's an international flight.  International - yay.  Comments6:44:03 PM

Someone help me remember to go to this: "Real Ale Festival at Racer's here in Parkville on October 9th -- twenty breweries, twenty-five bucks, all you can drink. Seems like there was music I didn't want to forget.  When is Morrissey in DC?  Soon.  Um, Green Day in October.  Almight Senators on Friday.  Um, Pixies sometime soon.  There was George Clinton tonight, but too many other things to do... Rob at Target finally helped me find where they are now storing their trashbags.  I have the patience of a 2-year old sometimes...and it was my 3rd time to go and try to buy them (the first two times I didn't HAVE to have them so I didn't bother asking for help) since the store's layout-reconfig... Not that I'm out of them now.  As a general rule, I don't run out of stuff.  Food products are the only exception 'cause you can't buy them too far in advance.  Though if I get snowed in, I'm safe.  I'm not sure how I acquired this trait.  It seems odd. Also, I'm curious of how long I need to wait until after a bad date to be able to make fun of it?  I never know if those boys would read these words, but if they did...well, I'd feel bad.  But, I sure get some funny stories sometimes. Though, I'm sure boys go tell stories about me too, so maybe it's all a wash.  I'll have to think about timing before I say more.  I did write an article about online ads once [um, over four years ago].     Comments12:59:50 PM
