Mostly news stories or articles of interest in the future to me. I'll eventually get around to adding my own ideas and stories on a more regular basis.

Yay!  Chris made me the nicest dinner and made me feel completely pampered.

I needed to be pampered.

It was perfect-timing.

Too bad I couldn't visit long 'cause I had research to do.

I hate that there's so many things that I can't write about now that are churning in my mind.  And my "dear-diary" (um, Scott) is in Cali. until past when I get back.

Sidenote:  Why do people on Cribs have such crazy amounts of clothes/shoes with perfect organization?  That's just not natual.  You know what I'd have in my house if I had too much money?  A slide-staircase.  Also, I'd have a hairdresser sink so someone could wash my hair and give me a nice scalp massage.  heh.  'Cause that's natural...

3:  The number of times THIS week that Dallas has made me laugh out loud (from IM talk) while I was answering the phone.*

3:  The number of nights left in Maryland before I go far, far away.

3:  The number of things I'm listing on this post.

*I think that Kevin and Jill [the people who work near me] both probably think I'm a little crazy 'cause they hear me laugh out loud frequently during the day with no explanation.  Neither of them ever do it.  EVER.

http://www.worthwhilemag.com/entry/2004/09/22/thought_for_the_day.php had a nice thought of the day from one of my favorite authors:
"Humanity has advanced, when it has advanced, not because it has been sober, responsible and cautious, but because it has been playful, rebellious and immature." -- writer Tom Robbins

Another interesting thought from gapingvoid:

The corporate business model of the (very near) future is childishly simple to understand. Nike, Dell and Coca Cola already use it, and most big companies are gearing up to implement it ASAP.

THE FUN NEW BIZ MODEL:

The company is divided into two parts, Part A and Part B.

Part A is much, much smaller than part B. Part B is huge.

Part A is called "Creative".

Part B is called "Outsourced."

So, are you creative or are you outsourced?
