I finished "Hart's Hope" tonight. I'm always secretly a little
sad to end a good book....the end of an experience sorta.
My favorite quote from this book is, "This is the way the paths of our
lives entwine and cross and go apart...[ramblings related to the
specific story]...If only we could stand outside our lives and look at
what we do, we might repair so many injuries before they're done."
We'll never fully know the force of our words, the results of our
actions or the repercussions of our choice to do nothing. How
things might be if we could...that's what my dreams will be about
tonight.

I finally started going through clothes...to check for sizing.
Five pair of jeans, six pair of pants, and two skirts....that's what I've convinced myself to get rid of so far. For me to get rid of something means it has to be too big even with a belt. The butt is a good area to check - a baggy-butt-area just doesn't ever look good.
And now I have to actually get them out of my house so I never let myself wear them again.
It's a proud moment.

Fully dressed to work-out and still a complete lack of motivation. Hhmm...motivation; an interesting subject to study. I DO want to be healthy, in better shape and to burn some calories. I also want to take a nap, cook dinner and read.
Maybe a 30-minute video will serve as a compromise. Or a nap. heh.

Today would be a nice day to be in Arkansas and see some family/friends. I'm in the mood for 100% sincere hugs.
Though an ideal evening in rainy-Maryland would be a good book, snuggling and yummy soup. Maybe a glass of wine. Don't forget the pajama's.
