Mostly news stories or articles of interest in the future to me. I'll eventually get around to adding my own ideas and stories on a more regular basis.

I wonder if I should've warned Kristen that I like to sing early in the morning and late at night...

Speaking of sleep...can I fit Pooh in my bag?  He cuddles so well...

I already added two hats and a bunch of paper for letter-writing...

Fine, fine, fine.  One carry-on, one backpack for a full SEVEN nights away.  I had to cut out half the pajamas!  Though, the backpack isn't pleasant...four books, four magazines, two journals, five cameras, plus toiletries.  heh.  And, after considering the suitcase closed, I went back and put in four more tanktops and a super-cute skirt (in case of dress-up beyond summer dress or other two skirts). I'm so not the practical packer.  I can't locate a pancho or umbrella.  Good thing I love to be drenched in summer rain.

Part of me is inclined to go dance it up at the Funk Box, but I guess I should rest.  I know I won't sleep well worried about that alarm going off at 3:30.  !!!   That's six hours from now!  Ack!  Okay, I'll go read and dream about what I'm forgetting that matters.

I need to find some hats and a place to put them.  I love hats at the beach.....

My travel companion packed LAST WEEKEND!!!  I just called to see how much she's taking and she's taking one carry-on.  I was thinking of moving from medium to large suitcase!  Argh!  Oh man, I just realized I didn't pack any spare shoes.  *grumble, grumble*

I freaked out a little bit earlier.  I got to the store and realized I had NO idea what I needed to take besides cameras and a journal.  Surely there had to be things to take.  I started biting my nails, chewing on my lower lip and looking pouty.  It was the weird arrival of an insecure, little girl.  On my way out of the store, I apparently dropped my debit card...which I didn't realize until I got to the ATM to take out money for the trip. That didn't help.

But, I found it, I got quarters, had dinner, and just put my clothes in the dryer.  It's going to be fine.  Actually it's going to be GREAT.  YAY!

Much last minute research now.

Any locals:  don't forget tomorrow is half-off day at my favorite Goodwill.  Go, shop, enjoy.

Today was so much busier than I was hoping at work, but I got the "main' things I needed to complete done.  Yay!  Now if I can really just make myself go to Wal-mart, do laundry, pack and sleep without being too distracted....I seriously have thought of 100 alternatives to meeting my requirements.  heh.

On a side-note:  I have the most awesome friends in the whole world.  *happy sigh*  I'm going to miss them next week.  I've been quite spoiled with such easy access to talking to them everyday...and I'm going to try my best to avoid Internet Cafe's....to avoid feeding previously said addiction(s).

However, I am going to write like a mofo.  I think I'm going to be mailing some "real" letters when I get back.

Oh-oh-oh, another surprise!!

Mike, another one of my favorite work boys, just brought me a copy of  the new Cake CD - "I thought you might want this."

YAY!  Something to listen to while packing tonight...

Yesterday I was exchanging e-mails with a quite-interesting person (heh) and one of our questions was about addictions.  I quickly said caffeine, but now I'm thinking I really have a lot of other, more subtle, ones.

Pajama's.  I love them.  Underwear.  Same thing.  And maybe socks.  For some reason the clothes under my clothes (or clothes at home) are so much more interesting to me than the outerwear.  With being a goodwill shopper lately, there's plenty of times my underwear even costs more than my outwerwear.

People.  I'm not sure I can say addicted, but I think I'm more interested than the normal person.

Books.  Do I need to explain books?

Internet.  We'll see how I do away from it next week.

Music.  It's such an amazing mood-enhancer for me that I think I'd go through serious withdrawals if it were removed.
