Prediction: If these talks are actually held, the DPRK will concede nothing. Kim will go to the brink with the intent to extract a compromise or concessions from the other nations or force a coalition of US, South Korea and Japan to agree to attack North Korea. Seoul, especially and Tokyo do not want war. The U.S. State Department also resists going down that path.
Ironically, the odds are in Kim Jong Il's favor right now and he may ultimately get what he wants: a pact with Washington in which Pyongyang only gives up its illegal nuke weapons program in exchange for a U-S pledge not to try to topple the Kim regime.
