It seems like a wacky but wonderful idea. Float radios attached to balloons to North Korea, the land where the radios and TVs are only allowed to receive one network and you can bet it's not MTV.
You would have thought this is something the CIA should have been doing, but no, it's an angry German doctor who is carrying it out.

Well, if they were Japanese ASDF planes instead they would make just as much noise as American ones.

Kume, by far, is the most charismatic of the Japanese TV newscasters. That's not saying much when one looks at the competition. TV news in Japan does not have the legacy it has in other countries but Kume has done more to make TV news in Japan watchable. NHK, by comparison, remains about as exciting as watching paint dry.
However, I have got to say, that sometimes Kume is too opinionated and his biases were always obvious, but he has never as biased as Tetsuya Chikushi on TBS. Maybe one of these years we will get a television news program in Japan that is not boring nor overly opinionated.

It may turn out that Japan, in the future, say 20 years from now, takes on a much more Chinese accent, with ten million or so legal and illegal Chinese residing in the country as Japan tries to counter a falling birthrate and all that comes with it. Better Chinese than Iranians is the consensus among government bureaucrats.
