After several weeks of travel, I'm starting to catch up on accumulated messages from suppliers. Many companies are doing "road shows" for introductory training and product introduction. Opto 22, an Ethernet in industrial applications pioneer, is taking its Seminar Series to venues different from the usual hotel conference rooms--places where Opto 22 products are actually used. A couple of examples include the Miniature Railroad and Village exhibit at the Carnegie Science Center and the aircraft carrier USS New Jersey.
