Alive and kickin' [posted by Troy] Let's face it, the democrats are hitting rough times, but out of all of the USofA, there is one bright spot where democrats still seem to stand for something. "Where is that place?" you might ask? If you guessed, Chicago, then you are right! The city by the lake has put together and allstar team of Democrats who are headintg to Washington. The two people leading the charge are Rahm Emanuel and (of course) Barack Obama. Here are a couple of articles on these guys: Rahm Emanuel Barack Obama (We also can't forget Dick Durbin, Jan Schakowsky, and Danny Davis.)

St. P's Day [posted by Troy] Within 13 short days, Chicago shifts from celebrating its Polish heritage (Pulaski Day on March 4th) to celebrating Irish Alcoholic heritage (St. Patrick's Day from March 12th to March 20th). Luckily, we get April to recover in time for Cinco de Mayo. Kim & I will be attending all of the parades and taking notes for those of you who can't attend.
