Real Terror [posted by Troy]
Our country is pretty worried about another terrorist attack, but no one seems to be overly concerned about the gun violence that is pretty common place in our country. Within the last two weeks, there have been shootings of a judge's family, a shooting in a court house, and this weekend there was a shooting at a church in Wisconsin. Has anyone asked why it's so easy to get guns in our society? Why are so many people on the brink of craziness? The PATRIOT ACT doesn't stop things like this from happening.

East Coast Family [posted by Troy]
As part of our ongoing celebration of St. Patrick's Day, we went out to some bars yesterday. This one place we went to played a bunch of early 1990s music videos including "Poison" by Bell Biv Devoe, and I was shocked at how cheesie these things looked. I wasn't shocked that they looked dated, but for the love of Pete, these videos look SO shotty. They played "Informer" by Snow, and I couldn't believe how awful this video looked. They also played a little Naughty by Nature...it is almost embarrassing. This leads to a question. Did the rise of "gansta" in the mid 1990s add a healthy dose of reality to hip hop? Hip hop, now seems much more edgy.
