Janet's Day
I'm the only one up....I love the quiet of the house before everyone else starts to stir. It's going to be a full day again today. I have a yoga class at 11, and then I'm going to the annual fish fry release. Yukon Energy owns a fish hatchery that raises thousands of chinook salmon (as a way of maintaining the stocks in the Yukon River), and each spring families get a chance to release the baby salmon into one of the local streams. The kids have a great time, there's always a barbeque, etc.
After that, I'm going on a hike with a few of my women friends. Afterwards we'll go out to dinner and then back to Pam's place for a soak in the hot tub. With our busy lives we only get a chance to all get together a couple of times a year, so I'm looking forward to it. Joe and kids will have to fend for themselves - this is Janet's day!
