Finally....
After three days of heavy rain (and snow at higher elevations), the sky shyly revealed some blue this afternoon. Mother Nature has certainly had her fun; with fresh snow on the mountains, the first day of summer looked more like the first day of winter!
Iris started her new job yesterday. They did yoga, body haikus, and improvs. Today one of the leaders wrote 'follow me' on his arm and for the next hour they imitated him doing some very strange things, including standing like statues at the side of the road for five minutes and lying at the side of the road for another five. No one was allowed to say a word throughout the whole exercise.
I think Iris is a bit out of her comfort zone, but I told her that's when you learn the most, so she should just go with it. It's not many people who can find a job where they pay you to do yoga!
