  • A good time was had at the Happy Hour last night.  Zenchick has an excellent write-up that recounts the evening's festivities.  It was good to see some old friends from the Internets.  As Snay said, we called him to see how he was doing.  Unfortunately, we missed getting together with Mike.  We will make sure at some point to meet up soon.
  • It appears as though I will be travelling for business to a conference at Novell's office in Provo, Utah from 17-23 July.  I will be staying at the Hampton Inn in Provo.  I have a pet name for Utah--"The Land that Time Forgot."  The beer is 3.2%, thanks to those wacky, crazy, cuckoo Mormons.  If you want the good stuff, you pay for it at the local state beverage store.  At least the knowledge I get more than makes up for it.  The conference is free, and my work will pick up the airfare, hotel, and other costs.  Airfare looks like it will be slightly pricey, though.
  • Today has been one of those days where I have been lagging behind.  Just not a lot of stuff going on.  I have more stuff to do tomorrow, so I will bang that out.  Today has been development day--poke around on the Linux laptop, assist a colleague with a few different things, and get stuff done on the travel side of things.
  • No gym today.  I forgot to bring something into work with me to send to my mother.  That was after I looked at it on my kitchen counter this morning and thought to myself: "Put that in the laptop bag."  I didn't do that, so I need to run to the post office when I get home and mail it off for overnight delivery.  Stupid me!
