Funk For most of today, while spending the afternoon enjoying the Fell's Point Festival with some friends and some beers, I found myself pondering in the back of my head what has been troubling me lately.  Troubling is too strong a word, but there is something that has been gnawing at me lately.  For lack of a better term, I think I have been in a bit of a funk.  It is certainly not a James Brown, Rick James, or George Clinton Parliament funk--although those are some good funks.  I know it is not a professional funk--the new job certainly makes sure that is not the case.  I am fairly certain it is not a personal funk--I have good friends and family who care about me.  I cannot put my finger on it, but I don't feel as though I am reaching the high standards I hold myself to.  I think I need to dig down a little and refocus.  11:58:18 PM    comment []  trackback []
