  • This week has been busier than I thought it would be.  Today, I have a meeting to cover some proposals for backups solutions and other necessary purchases, so that should be an interesting one.  If only I get a call back from Dell, than I can have that meeting and be golden.  Tomorrow, I get to be at the office late for some patching of Windows Small Business Server 2003.  Joy brought forth by the incomplete patching of consultants.
  • The little bit of downtime I had this week was quite nice.  I was able to spend some quality time at the gym--actually five trips in three days.  I was also able to spend some time analyzing things, kind of in a mathematical genius kind of way without the John Nash mental problems (or at least I hope).  It was somewhat ironic that the time I decided to spend pondering was coinciding with Rosh Hashanah.  Who would have thought that an Irish Catholic boy like me would have so much in common with my Jewish friends.
  • While on my crazy workout binge--which I did not partake in of today as I liked my comfy bed--I caught up on all my various podcasts.  What was funny, though, was hearing a podcaster mention my name on their podcast.  I emailed Todd over at Geek News Central about his questions on the Motorola E815 from Verizon.  He mentioned an email from Jason about the Motorola E815, and that was mine.  Pretty darn cool, albeit a bit unsettling.
  • Speaking of blogs, I am thinking of moving my blogging platform to WordPress.  I am intrigued by what Robert Scoble was able to do--importing his blog via OPML to another blog.  So, if WordPress can do that, it might be high-time to actually host this thing at baltimoremick.com.  Depends on whether or not GoDaddy can do that for me.
  • On the subject of more geekiness, I finally got off my procrastinating nature and setup a Flickr Pro account.  Now I have a true online repository of all of my crappy photos.
  • Finally, on the geeky tip, I need to add a link to my OPML blog.  Look for that sometime soon.

Time to run off and shake Dell down again, and then have my meeting.
