As promised, I have posted my U2 photos in all their pixelated glory on
my Flickr account. Go partake in the wonder that is Bono, The
Edge, Adam Clayton, Larry Mullen, and a brightly lit stage.

Today, in a geeky quest, I decided I would hack my Motorola E815.
in order to be able to pull data from it: images, music, and anything
else I might want. There are a couple of very good articles that
detail this process, one at Nuclear Elephant and the other on HowardForums.
After following the steps on the latter and the use of BitTorrent to
obtain the necessary software, I am able to connect to my phone and
copy data to and from it. Essentially, you wind up "flipping some
bits" in the "seem" that controls the phone. Verizon disabled some of these features in their infinite stupidity. So, no need for me to use the GetItNow feature. Take that, Verizon! That is awesome.
Even better, I uploaded some MP3s onto the phone as ringtones: the Muppets Manamana song and the Imperial March from The Empire Strikes Back. Surprisingly, the audio quality on this phone is pretty good.
Reveling in my nerdiness...
