I finally had some time to really read the Janis Ian essay. Fucking brilliant. Isn't it amazing, how much money is being spent, legislation written and passed, technology forced to fruition in failed attempt after another to destroy the internet's capability to be exactly what the music industry needs: The Biggest Friggin' Free Radio Station ever. iRock included.

Bing! The first full lawfirm I've seen that totally grasps how the web will work for their business, which is ofcourse, information: "We try to undercut our tendency to self importance by making fun of ourselves. This website is one example, as is our earlier Bitches From Hell Reporter and our various firm announcements and holiday cards." [via jenette radio]

Goodafternoon or morning, depending on where you live. Crap weather for the dutch military airshow today. Thousands of enthousiasts are getting rained on in their pup-tents, including our pilot cpt. Denise.
I'm listening to RadioM's stream. A friend is on air there today and I've got BlogToaster on in the background. It's cool to live in Europe and literally "watch" my friends in America wake up, east coast first of course. When each updates their blog the toaster 'pops' the link. Real-time blogging. This way I'll also know wehen Dave is awake. 9 hours time difference makes coordinating phone calls challenging. I used to have a browser window opened with weblogs.com that I would refresh often to see who was up and about. Later that became an iFrame in my Desktop Website. Now BlogToaster does all the work. Nice bootstrap.
