Greenspan did a good job. I am quite certain forces at the presidential level were counting on his 'soothing' speech. Even Dave now thinks we've bottomed. My 1996-levels prediction wasn't too far off in that case.
Now that we know there 'are no secrets, just information you don't yet have', I expect information tools to become increasingly important.
I anxiously await the first company, publicly traded or not, that will open its accounting and information system to investors, so they can track their investment in realtime instead of keeping this information behind a firewall of analysts and outdated accounting standards
PayPal will be part of that equation as will weblogs.
