Big fun this morning trying on my old Circus of the Stars Elvis Suit. It was made for me about 10 years ago when I performed a death-defying stunt for ABC. It invloved a derailed roller-coaster car that jumped through an angry wall of flames, landing on a pad wired with more explosives. The stunt itself was pretty scary to perform (and a bit painful on the tailbone). Having Hulk Hogan rescue me from the wreckage made it all worthwhile ofcourse.
I need the garment for a huge event in the dutch 'outback', known as the 'Achterhoek'. 50 thousand people will be on hand Sunday as my radio co-host Jeroen and I land our helicopter on the start/finish line of the 'Black-MotoCross', where we are both participating in the powder-puff league. I figured we might as well go completely over the top and do the E-thing. Pictures on the blog Sunday night, ofcourse!
The girls at the LaPaay office certainly enjoyed my short preview when I tried it on this morning at the office in Amsterdam. A bit tight here and there....
