Other updates...
The MythTV system is starting to work, but not really all that well. I'm using an old dual-PII 350 system with an ATI Rage-128 video card. This system is little too pokey to play back the video. I have a feeling that the other dual PIII 500 system isn't good enough either.

I did get video coming into MythTV and I can record, but no audio and no remote yet. This makes it less than ideal.

I've been cleaning up pictures from the wedding a couple weeks ago. Getting close to being done there - just need about 30 minutes to wrap it up (going to do that next).

Toute is still making progress - she's eating baby food now (well, chicken).

Steelers lost... :-(
The Steelers lost, so now their pre-season record is 0-2-0. Not a great start yet. What I saw in the game (in the fancy webpage that almost shows something) was that it seems kind of close, but the Steelers just haven't gotten it completely together yet. Another wait and see kind of season.

Out to lunch today
After Church this morning - just gotta go and be part of our God exalting community. I'm not going because I have to mark an attendance card or that I have an obligation, but because I know that's where God will be and we need to worship Him together as a community.

After Worshipping today - we're going out to lunch with Bob and Flora, good friends of ours. They've been following Gods call. We're praying about Bob becoming the pastor of a church in Texas. How will it turn out? Dunno - but we'll do the best we can and just trust in God.

It's a hard thing getting to know some people well and then seeing them move away. God has a plan and change is part of that plan. At New Hope Chapel we are there to help saints grow to maturity and to send them out into the world. We all try to stay in contact, but it's always hard. At least our time here is short and eternity is a long time to spend together.

Joy Joy Joy - just gotta dance to another Rich Mullins song. Go checkout this website for the words and music: http://www.kidbrothers.net/

I've been remiss lately. For a LONG time I've been playing one particular song every night, well two really. And that song is: That Where I Am, There You may also be

If I go prepare a place for you, I will come back again
If I go prepare a place for you, I will come back again
And you know I am the Way, the Truth, the Life, keep my command
That where I am, there you may also be

That where I am, there you may also be
Up where the truth, the truth will set you free
In the world you will have trouble, but I leave you my peace
That where I am, there you may also be

Remember you did not choose me, no I have chosen you
Remember you did not choose me, no I have chosen you
The world will show you hatred, the Spirit show you truth
That where I am, there you may also be

Just gotta go dance with the Lord today - have a great Sunday!

Donna's computer is ready to pack up and ship out...
I finished my setup of my sisters computer last night. It should do what she wants pretty well without any hassles or other junk getting in the way.

Do I really think that I won't get questions about it? No, but they should be much easier questions than trying to upgrade an old computer to windows 2000 and explaining every answer on every screen. No fun there.

It'll be at the UPS folks tomorrow morning and heading to Turtle Creek right after that. Yahoo - I actually got something done in the last month!

Update: I just added the printer driver (HP DeskJet 550C) so I think everything is all set. I've just boxed it up - so it better be ready now :-)
