"On F Street, somebody was grumbling
Of laundromat lingerers bumbling
And hanging about
They said they'd get out
As soon as their clothes were done tumbling." 11:47:42 PM

Ugh, more lost mail. Someone sent me a package via express mail last week and it's still not here. That's 5 pieces of lost mail this year. Well, 5 pieces I know about, anyway.
I think the post office hates me. 11:03:49 PM

Apparently if you link to anything at Disinchanted.com, they'll show readers your link. This allows people to see immediately whatever dialogue is created by any blog post or article. Radio 8 needs to adopt this function -- it should be as simple as checking a box on a Prefs page. Are you listening Dave Winer?"
Dave seems to 'hear' everything. Let's just hope he thinks this idea is as spiffy as Spoon. 10:30:27 PM

Space News: "The recent alignment of five planets in the western sky has given rise to a number of remarkable observations. Carol Lakomiak of Tomahawk, Wisconsin managed to photograph one. She was watching the twilight gathering of planets in the evening sky last month -- and Venus had caught her attention ... "When viewed through my 11x70 binoculars, I saw beams of light jutting from the top and bottom of the planet, and there were moments when they were visible without optical aid," she said ... She dashed inside for her camera, and returned to make a snapshot. The strange beams were still there, and she captured them on film -- perhaps the first-ever pictures of extraordinary "Venus pillars."
