Tip for Userland travelers: Don't leave your desktop website open on your sleeping laptop as you pass it through security. The agent who turned my PowerBook on for a closer look seemed a bit disconcerted by references to Hinjews, Muslims, and Nuclear War, and a lot disconcerted by this sentence "Lucky for us, no one has hijacked a plane yet with a fork, because my omlette was tough enough to shatter plastic utensils."  8:35:16 PM  permalink   Add a comment

Oh, I bought the DSC-F707. So far, so good.  8:29:43 PM  permalink   Add a comment

Major SNAFU on the dog front: I was supposed to pick Hannah up from my friend's house sometime this evening so that we could make an 9 AM appointment with the groomer, but now it looks like my plane won't be landing in Anchorage until about one O'clock in the morning.

I called the freinds and let them know that Hannah will be spending an extra night with them (they're overjoyed, I'm sure) and I'll pick her up bright and early at 7 AM. After that, we're off to the groomer, and I'm late to work.

All that assuming I don't oversleep.  8:29:12 PM  permalink   Add a comment
