Dare Obasanjo has posted his work on SiXDML. This is a SQL inspired query language tailored for native XML databases. We were talking about this on the XML:DB list a while back and Dare did a great job jumping on it and coming up with a first draft.
The language basically takes the XML:DB API, XML:DB XUpdate and SQL and merges them together into something that is simpler to understand. It isn't as powerful as XQuery for straight queries, but teams with XQuery to fill a lot of the gaping holes that XQuery has from the perspective of native XML databases.

Dare's current demo runs on top of Excelon and we're currently exploring an implementations for Xindice.

Hey, I liked the theme Clark chose so much I decided to use it too. Ironically, it uses CSS also. Or well it looks fine in Omniweb. Hopefully it degrades nicely for other browsers as well. It doesn't use positioning which is what is the biggest source of problems so it should be ok.
