SiXDML Becomes an XML:DB Initiative Project

Last week, we decided that SixDML has very real potential and that it should become an XML:DB Initiative project. This builds logically on the existing work of XML:DB and does a great job of taking things to the next step. The project is now kicking off with the launch of the developers mailing list.

If you're interested in SiXDML you can join the developers list by sending a request to sixdml-dev-request@xmldb.org with the word "subscribe" in the body.

It is currently planned to include a SiXDML implementation in a future revision of Xindice.
