Been There or Be Sued... Be has filed an anti-trust lawsuit against Microsoft. One of the ironies of the JOD settling with MS is that it could end up meaning nothing. MS will be buiried in high profile lawsuits that use the 'Findings of Fact' that MS is a Monopoly, and has used illegal tactics to maintain that Monopoly. This is going to keep that one employee that is left at Be very busy. Of course Be should also change their name to Been...mj 12:52:46 PM

XXX OS X Rant I love Apple and for the most part I love OS X, but please, for the love of God Apple -- fix the finder. I am running 10.1.2 (I am going to upgrade to 10.1.3 today) on a G4/400 with over 400 megs of ram...why does the finder perform so DAMN BAD in list view. Yes, I have run the standard repair utilities. No this is not a new problem! It takes forever for it to display a folder of files and when I try to drag and drop the files to another folder it takes forever!!! Oh yes it works fine in column view, and icon view is ok...but I want my damn list view and I want it to work! I like to sort things and then select all of a 'type' to move it...can't do that in Column view...please, please, please get this fixed -- why should it take 3 minutes to move 10 files to a new folder while in list view. Or at the very least, make Column View work the way it ought to ...mj 12:36:55 PM
