Why I hate the NBA It's not like I've ever been a big fan of Basketball, but I have simply gotten tired of the sport. The reason comes down to one simple thing...contracts that are guaranteed. If you could change any one thing in this sport it would be to remove the word guaranteed. Look over the list that ESPN put together of the 10 most overlaid players in the NBA. It's a shame and a testament to the money wasted on some of these people. As a Seattle Supersonics watcher I have had the torture of watching the whole Vin Baker saga. I have never seen a worse waste of money in my life. He whines and complains and then under-produces for over 11 million a year! Then there are the Blazers who have Shawn Kemp and Scottie Pippen. I guess it could be worse. Its a sad sport when you get to spend the offseason trying to find someone stupid enough to take a crap player off your hands. If he sucks, then release him at no penalty to the team. In the end it is this that distances fans from the game...mj 6:34:28 PM
