Iceland on Road to Oil-Free Future
Iceland, with its steaming geothermal power stations, already knows plenty about alternative energy.
Now this island of lava on the edge of the Arctic plans to
become the world's first society to ditch fossil fuels
entirely, relying instead on hydrogen made using the power of
its roaring rivers and volcanoes.

Too bad the politics of this country/administration will keep us from making any progess. We have an administration that is 'Big Oil' driven and owned. Their idea is to spoil pristine wilderness so that they earn money and extend our oil supply for a few weeks at best.
This is the administration that danced with Enron and has too many appointees put in place by 'Big Oil' money. As long as we let Corporations run this country we are in deep trouble...mj
