2003 Denver Municipal Election - Election Results

Very cool. The downtown Mariott where I'm staying in Salt Lake has ethernet in my room. I'm online.

Here is the link to DenverGov's election results.

Note from John

I'll be on the road for the next 3 days. If connectivity works out in Salt Lake City I'll report on the election tomorrow. I'll also be detailing the reasons for choosing the winners of the Gulchies later on this week.

Thanks to all of you that commented on the election coverage here at Coyote Gulch. I appreciate the kind words and encouragement. Next up, the runoffs.

2003 Denver Municipal Election

Low voter turnout is expected this year according to the Denver Post. Coyote Gulch has noticed a lack of interest in the election - except by City employees. They probably have the most at stake in the election outcome. From the article, "A slow return of absentee ballots caused officials on Monday to revise their projected turnout to less than 30 percent."

The Rocky Mountain News has an summary article about the election today. From the article, "In all, the departing council members will take with them 144 years spent on the fourth floor of City Hall."

The Denver Post has information on requesting an emergency ballot. The Rocky has a short feature on polling information.

The Post recaps their endorsements.

2003 Denver Mayoral Election

The Denver Post has an article highlighting mayoral candidates on the last day before the election.

Here's an article about the mayoral race from CNN (well AP really).
