2003 Denver City Council Runoff Election - District 10

Jeanne Robb has written a letter to the editor to explain her stand on issues important to her district. Says Robb, "Personal life experiences, the courage of friends in the gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgendered community, and the discussions at my church - Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church - have all figured into my personal growth and changes that I believe have occurred in Denver neighborhoods."

The candidates in the runoff squared off on the Mike Rosen show yesterday according to the Rocky Mountain News. They continued the theme later in the evening at a downtown forum according to the Denver Post.

The Rocky Mountain News has an in-depth look at Don Mares today. From the article, "Because of the public nature of his resume, there's more of Mares to put under the microscope, more issues in which he's had a hand, more enemies trying to snipe away."

Don Mares has a new TV ad coming out that plays off John Hickenlooper's quirky ads. The Post has a story about the latest TV spots from both candidates.

The Rocky has a story analyzing campaign contributions for both mayoral candidates along with a table listing some details. Here's the coverage from the Denver Post.

The Denver Post has an article dealing touching on the issue of education vouchers. Neither candidate supports the law passed this last term in the State Legislature.
