My manager and a co-worker who sat down the aisle from my office spent the night at the Marriott at the floor of the World Trade Center.  Many people spent a frantic day trying to locate them.  Both are OK.  The Marriott, of course, is gone.

An remote employee of my wife was visiting, and ended up being stranded thousands of miles from his wife and son.

I spent the day like countless others did, watching CNN and reading Scripting News.
