News - Went out to Sarah and Joe's farm last night for a little binocular astronomy under the clear, 8-degree temperature skies. Got a terrific view of the Perseus Double Cluster overhead. Steadied myself on the side of the truck so the binocs would not hop around as much. I've been reading about the advantages of the Canon Image Stabilized binoculars (http://www.binoculars.com/specialty.asp?SPECID=5). They seem to work really well, according to the reviews I've read, but man, are they ever expensive!
