 I got my naturally blonde hair really colored up today - it's now a yellow-white blonde - I look like Billy Idol.
I need to get a decent picture of myself. Difficult under any circumstance, but particularly tough right now since the Ski Boy is in Colorado - visiting his daughter and his sister and of all things - skiing.
So, I'll just have to take this picture of myself by myself using a tripod (where is my tripod?) and the delayed exposure on my camera. Should be entertaining.
Well, I'll give a little Rebel Yell as I head off to my hot sitz bath and bed.

Another Slat Rat Community Service evening:
- From 5:00PM to 7:00 PM, the monthly Board of Directors meeting of the Anchorage Concert Association.
- From 7:00PM to 9:00PM, the monthly Government Hill Community Council meeting. Tonight's meeting was quite lively. We took up discussion of a resolution supporting the Modified Orange Route of the South Extension of the Coastal Trail. This is one hot topic. Several folks from the Sand Lake, Bayshore, and Ocean View Community Councils spoke - all against the extension.
In the end, the Government Hill council voted not to weigh in for one side or the other on the issue. I vacilated back and forth. I support the extension, but question whether we as Government Hill should pass a resolution one way or the other on the issue. Somewhat tricky. But it's nice to see democracy in action - people were passionate about the issue but still civil.
