Peter and I saw American Splendor at the Bear Tooth this evening. What a great, wonderfully odd and funny movie. It really is beyond description - adult (but not sexual) comic books, nerds, schlubs, gritty, Cleveland, etc. Just a complete and total gem - if you do "odd".

Well, the clouds parted this evening. So, the Ski Boy, the Overstuffed and Somewhat Gassy Pooch, and myself took a walk along the Coastal Trail. We kept our eyes peeled for Auroral activity. And there was none. The only Auroral activity I spotted were the flashes I saw when I made myself really dizzy by turning around and looking up into the sky.

The huge solar flare generated a stunning display of the Aurora Borealis here in Alaska.
There's just one problem - I missed it last night - my friends say it was absolutely amazing. As I type, it's clouding over so I may miss it again tonight. WAH!!!!
