One Set of Very Cool Christmas Presents O.K. I just spent a chunk of change on a set of Christmas presents for Mom, Da Ski Boy, Alix, and Seth. Lowell and I were the only two left out of this little venture. We'll see how this all turns out. It has massive cool potential. Or it could be a giant floperoo. Stay tuned. 9:14:30 PM    comment []

It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas!!!! Well, things are finally getting underway on the Christmas front! After many trials and tribulations, my wad o' Christmas cards are now in the capable hands of the US Postal Service. I even took the extra step of mailing them out of the magic mailbox. Mail originating from the magic mailbox usually arrives at its destination within 24 to 48 hours - even letters mailed to the Lower 48 will often arrive within 2 days. Even Mom uses the magic mailbox - she'll make a special pilgrimage to the MM when she has a letter that absolutely positively has be at is destination within 24 hours. So, tonight, I'm hanging out, wrapping presents and listening to Christmas music. And it's cold and snowy outside. Totally perfect! 8:28:16 PM    comment []
