One thing guaranteed to help me feel better - snow!!!!! It's been snowing all day. It's a very light dry snow - so we don't have multiple foots of the fluffy white stuff. But, we have a couple more inches and it's just nice to have a snowy day.
This is Alaska after all.

Well, whatever bug I have refuses to retreat. At this point, I now think I may have an ear infection to go along with everything else. Either that or my glands are so swollen that it feels like an ear infection. Hopefully, I can get in to see my doc tomorrow.
Tonight was the annual Government Hill Christmas Gift Exchange. But I'm so punk that I couldn't do that. I did rally enough for dinner at the Bear Tooth. I had forgotten to take advil, so I was pretty desperate on the swollen gland/pain front. However, Peter's very cold margarita along with my beer helped quell the discomfort.
Right now, I'm just so tired. I hear my bed and advil calling my name.
