Clemmie had a pretty terrible day today. She had her teeth cleaned and a root canal. She is one very wobbly pooch tonight. It is tough duty when you're a 12 1/2 year old Bouvier and have major dental work.

The vet also discovered a urinary tract infection. It turns out that she's probably had it for about a week but it really went over the top today. Bloody urine to the max.

Poor Clem. However, even though she's pretty wobbly, she was able to whine and beg just like her old self at dinner. She was a little hoarse - as all of us surgery pros know, the respiration tube really horks up one's throat.

She's had some tylenol tonight for the pain and as I type, she's snoozing at my feet. She should be back to her old self within the next few days.

The cable guy came by yesterday. We had not one, but several iffy coax connectors. He replaced all of them and now life is very good. We're back speeding along at 1 Mb downstream. A vast improvement.
