Wow Amazon Light is awesome. I'll definitely be using this over the Amazon interface in some circumstances. Something like this would make a great Glue demo app - hint, hint. [Scripting News]

MacWorld. My take on MacWorld. One word summary: cool [Pat's Weblog]
My take on MacWorld:
17" iMac - want one. The screen size was probably the only thing I didn't like about the original iMac, and the new one fixes that problem.
.Mac - Stupid name. Some cool stuff, but I probably won't be a customer (even 100mb is just not enough space)
Jaguar - $129 is a lot - I think that will tempt a lot of people to pirate it. I'll buy it because I want to support Apple. (Funny that a company can inspire allegiance and notions of 'support Apple' when it's profitable)
iSync - Give me! Give me! Give me! I've been looking for this for the PC for years. FusionOne came and went - this looks awesome. Please, please, please have Entourage integration.
iPod - Almost ready to purchase one of these - 20gig is insanely large.
iCal - Not so excited unless it integrates with Entourage (which would be cool)
iChat, Inkwell, Sherlock 3, Mail - All sound cool, but I doubt I'll ever use any of them :)

Do you remember the original Batman movie? I think whenever MacWorld is on Bill Gates becomes the Joker. I picture him sitting at home watching the keynote (on Quicktime of course) saying "Where does he get those wonderful toys?" (WAV)

Brett and James have discovered p6spy today. I found it a fortnight ago - saved my bacon tracking down a nitty transaction bug in Resin. Good app, free.

NAnt, Log4Net, NLucene, NDigester, and of course NUnit. All are .NET ports or reimplementations of Java open source projects. Anybody know of others?
Wow - this is fucking scary! Not only do they port the project, they can't even think up their own name? [Sam Ruby]
