Something either medicinal or miraculous transpired around 9 P.M. last night to this old body of mine, and suddenly I could BREATH again....whew!!  Could be a result of the laying of hands performed Yankee style last night.  Maybe.  Probably. 

Watched the season opener of The Shield last night.  Love that show - raw, violent, edgy.  Didn't make it through the last 15 minutes...I was like a woozy E.T. looking for a phone.  Found the bed and collapsed.

I'm feeling much much better today...thanks for the well wishes, Pam and Ailina, two of my favorite southern gals :)

Work this morning began somewhat uncomfortably, as I had to let one of my employees go.  Not one of my most favorite things to do, but it comes with the territory.  He took it better than I expected.  Hard to argue the fact when you haven't reported to your job in three days without calling in, and being late every morning on the few days you actually managed to show up.  What gripes me about the entire thing is the fact that he practically was on his knees begging me for a job in the first place.  So I help the guy out.  It was two weeks before Christmas.  Bad time to be unemployed.  He let me down, let his co-workers down and let the facility down.  So it goes.....
