100 things about me

"A person should hear a little music, read a little poetry, and see a fine picture every day in order that worldly cares may not obliterate the sense of the beautiful that God has implanted in the human soul." - Goethe

Quotes of the day

"Asthma doesn’t seem to bother me any more unless I’m around cigars or dogs. The thing that would bother me most would be a dog smoking a cigar."  --Fred Allen

"I’ve suffered from all of the hang-ups known,  And none is as bad as the telephone."
  --Richard Armour

Scott's been working on my template today, hoping the changes will result in a faster loading page.  He removed some tables and rearranged a few things on the page while I covered my eyes and held my breath at work.  (looks great honey, thank you!!)

It's been a long day; I'm tired and we're out of cream for the morning's coffee.  Dolly needs Alpo, Scott needs beer and the car needs antifreeze.   Down to
10 degrees tonight, so they say.  Time to get out the Scottie Dog flannel pj's and throw another quilt on the bed.  TGIF and all that stuff, ya'll  :)

Nude Women Protest War Again

The Marin County women who call themselves "Unreasonable Women Baring Witness" will be at it again tomorrow - stripping for peace to protest America's "naked agression".  The organization is calling for 100,000 volunteers, including men, to bare it all at peace rallies scheduled to be held tomorrow in San Francisco and Washington.  Donna Sheehan, a spokesperson for the organization, urges women to "be bold, be courageous, be vulnerable".    (and pack a dictionary...)
