Instapundit Crosses the Big Pond

I see a Rocky Top Brigade member has been mentioned in The Guardian today - our very own Instapundit, Glenn Reynolds, of Tennessee.  The Guardian refers to Glenn's weblog as "hugely popular", and for any of you who don't already know, Glenn has his own spot on MSNBC's cable channel.  A big ATTABOY! to one of our own :)

Funky Birdhouse

This curious little birdhouse was given to me this Christmas by a co-worker.  He found it at an antique shop somewhere around here.  I'm sure it's the only one of its kind on the planet.  Cobbled together out of ordinary household bric-a-brac, the artist managed to capture a spontaneous moment of heartfelt warmth,  perhaps intended as a gift for someone special.  How it managed to find its way onto an antique store shelf, I'll never know - but I'm certainly pleased that it managed to find its way onto my bookcase!  (please click here to see pics)
