1000 Day Plan Integration I will be meeting with the Utah Product Management Council this morning.  One of the things that I want to do is make sure that the efforts of the Product Management Council are well integrated with Governor Leavitt's 1000 Day Plan initiative.  The Day 400 Update was shared at the most recent Cabinet Council meeting.  The Governor's Office would like to have department-level plans and milestones linked from the Governor's plan.  I wish that I had started doing the milestones in RSS.  That would have been a natural and would have made it very easy to consume and update.  I think that I'll begin doing that now in anticipaton of Day 500 (We're at day 458 today).  I am also starting a new RSS feed for headline news from Utah government that will be consumed on the Utah.gov portal. FirstGov has a new look.  I think it's certainly an improvement.  A cross-agency team recently put up "Where Life and Landscape Connect," a Utah site for environmental information.  I'm not sure how I feel about its non-adherence to Utah.gov standards. 7:42:11 AM    comment []
