We met with the Utah Sheriffs Association this morning to discuss the Utah Wireless Integrated Network. Obviously, local law enforcement is a key potential customer and driver for the technologies that UWIN is looking at.
State Archives will be sponsoring a seminar on electronic records management on the 25th of June at the Salt Lake Public Library. The agenda will include training on issues like scanning, archival of database records, GRAMA requirements, etc. This session is restricted to local governments and vendors who provide electronic document solutions to local government.
