I endured a very long email from someone who can't sort out love of country and love of government (he was a real government hater during the Clinton years, but now feels that anyone who questions Bush is unpatriotic). Since I have just blocked this guy's email (why is it all of the cranks use hotmail and yahoomail). I will mention a wonderful quote on the subject.. To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. -- Theodore Roosevelt [1918] 5:13:39 AM     The Times Magazine has a piece on Howard Dean. Perhaps there are a few real Democrats around and one of them is running for president. People have been wondering if/when Bush will acknowledge blogs (mostly speculation within the blogosphere, which tends to be a bit on the self-impressed side). People seriously interested in Dean (for or against him) may want to follow the deanblog.
