Baker's Dozen Okay, so Courtney turned me on to this Baker's Dozen idea, so I'm going to do this, I think. Here is her Baker's Dozen, and here is the homepage for the Baker's Dozen original site. GnomeDex 3.0: Gotta Be There. Be sure to add your Gnomedex buttons to your blogs, ladies and gents. Here's the code: I'll be there with MacSlash, and likely working the booth. Be there, or Be Square.
In other news, Tim O'Reilly is speaking there as well. Be there. |
New Definition for Surreality. The web is a deeply strange place. The potential for anonymity, the potential for charlatanry, tomfoolery and other such misanthropy is unmeasurable. And people wonder why I don't tell them Tiffany and I met online. |
RSS Feeds and Licenses and "About This Blog" Mike brings a very good idea to the table today regarding RSS. A few weeks ago, my feed got picked up by a news aggregator that uses my RSS feed as a source for their paid readership, except my license prohibits that, you can't make people pay for my content.
Here is Mike's idea. Basically, it's a license entry for the front of your feed. Kind of an "About This Blog" entry. He's got it on his RSS feed, which you can find here. |
