Lunar Eclipse

I hope you took time to observe the Lunar Eclipse last night. I did.

Yes, I had to miss the last 30 minutes of ER's 201 episode. But what a great show.

I found that MSN had the best eclipse information. There is a nice slide show, also.

The Nasa Astronomy Picture of the Day has some good information yesterday. There is a bunch of information available by following this link.

If you missed last evening's event there is another lunar eclipse on November 9th. If it is visible in your area of the globe don't miss it.

I've let too many of these opportunities go by without taking advantage. No more. These are special events and should be enjoyed. And yes, the Lunar Eclipse, from the perspective of this casual observer, presents a more interesting viewing opportunity than a total Solar Eclipse......
