2 much time I feel that Blogging is taking up too much of my time. Expect a lot less in the near future as I want to concentrate on my guitar. Over and out..... 8:46:55 AM    comment []; You've come a long way, Baby I watched a documentary about Paco De Lucia last night. It is called "Francisco Sanchez (his real name) - Paco De Lucia". Interesting Paco quote: "Flamenco will crush you" He says that when he performed solo at the Teatro Real in Madrid in the Seventies critics and the press went crazy. They considered Flamenco, even solo guitar, blasphemous in a hall reserved for classical music. He also mentions that he was the first Flamenco guitarist to cross his legs and rest the guitar on the top leg. Before Paco the guitar rested on the right leg and was held upright, but Paco started playing a lot more chords and started using the whole length of the neck. Apparently people thought that was blasphemous as well....and that was less than 40 years ago..... 8:45:22 AM    comment [];
